The New Prague Trojans entered Thursday night's game against Mankato West ranked 17th in the latest Let's Play Hockey poll and the Scarlets were rated 19th.

When the game was over at All Seasons Arena in Mankato, West came away with a 3-2 win to remain unbeaten and the Trojans fell to 1-3.

Hermantown is tops in the Class A poll and is followed in the top five by Breck, East Grand Forks, St. Cloud Apollo and Mahtomedi.

In Class AA, Eden Prairie is on top, then it's Duluth East, Benilde-St. Margaret's, Hill-Murray and Edina in the top five.

Defending state champion Lakeville North fell from second to eighth after losing their season opener to Stillwater Area 6-5. The Ponies are 10th.

The Farmington Tigers have opened their season with wins over Rochester Mayo and Eagan and losses to Eden Prairie and Edina, and are rated 19th.

Eastview and Burnsville were in the "others receiving votes" category.
