All season Section 1A has been loaded with state ranked teams.  The Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association Poll updated today still has five top ranked teams in the section but they've been adjusted a bit.

When the season began Kenyon-Wanamingo was at the top of the Class A State rankings with most of their team back from last season's state ranked Class AA team it made sense.

Then defending Section 1A Champion Medford received the honors of being the top ranked team out of the Section.  Now Mabel-Canton is after winning a tournament in Decorah, Iowa over the weekend.

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown is still #2, Kenyon-Wanamingo fell to #6. Caledonia is still #8 and Medford still #9.

In Class 2A Stewartville is still on top but #2 North Branch is getting some first place votes.  Kasson-Mantorville stays at #3 even though they defeated Class 3A state rated Lakeville South last Friday in a daytime match in Kasson.  Belle Plaine is still #7.

Class 3A has no changes in the top three with Eagan, Northfield and Wayzata in those spots.  Lakeville North dropped from #4 to #5 after losing to Shakopee.  Shakopee moved from #7 to #6.  Lakeville South dropped from #6 to #7 after losing to Eagan and Kasson-Mantorville last week.  New Prague is still getting votes but not cracking the top ten.
