It was kind of an in-between uneventful week for the grain markets. There was a lot of friendly news for beans with export demand from China and less than ideal weather in Argentina and Southern Brazil. The dry weather did not seem to support corn. Maybe because of slow export demand?

The USDA made very few changes in the December Supply Demand Report other than decreasing corn exports by 75 million bushels. That was actually less than most traders expected. Many anticipate there will be more decreases to corn exports in the next few months. Click on the link and listen t Gordy talk about the market action last week.
