Commodity Broker Gordy Kralovetz with Chiodo Commodities said it was another disappointing week after the friendly USDA Projected Acres and Grain Stocks Report. The grain markets after the numbers were released closed sharply higher and started this last week higher but quickly turned lower. Thursday was another down day going into the 3 day Easter weekend.

Looking at the weekly charts May corn is now lower than going into the Projected Plantings and Grain Stocks Report! The good news is the charts from the technical side, we did not do any real damage. So, it could be just a correction. We will just have to see how we trade Sunday night and into the open Monday morning at 8:30.

Remember, the ag markets were closed Friday. The grain markets will open at the normal time for the overnight session at 7:00 pm Sunday evening. Click on the link above and listen to Gordy talk about the ag markets last week.
