Next week is National 4-H Week and Sunday is National 4-H Day. In recognition of that the Rice County 4-H will be hosting a program at four locations in Rice County designed to introduce families to the 4-H Program. Rice County 4-H Program Coordinator Kelly Chadwick said they decided to try something new this year!

The 4-H 101 will be held at four locations Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Lonsdale Feed Mill in Lonsdale, at Central Park in Faribault, In Morristown at the Community Center and in Northfield at the Area Family YMCA. It is free and all families and children are invited!

There will be all kinds of fun hands on activities and also at some locations animals. Kelly said they are trying to let families that are not involved in 4-H find out what the 4-H program is all about. Looking at the forecast it looks like the weather is going to cooperate!
