The Dakota-Rice-Scott and River Valley League all-stars square off for their 12th annual game Saturday in Fairfax.  The Faribault Lakers will be represented by pitchers Egan Bonde and Tyler Francis.  First pitch is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. and follows a home run derby that features three players from each team.  The home run derby is from 1:15 to 1:45 p.m.

The River Valley League has won 7 of the games and there was a rain out in 2008 when the game was supposed to be hosted by Arlington.  Proceeds are split between the two leagues and used to offset annual expenses.  Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for ages 13-18 and under 12 free.

In addition to the two Lakers All-Stars the D-R-S League is represented by Thomas Hoppert of Lonsdale.  Jake McCabe and Robbie Marshall from Montgomery.  Four New Market Muskies, four St. Patrick Irish players, three New Prague Orioles and Elko Express, two Union Hill Bulldogs and one each from Veseli and Webster.

Coaches for D-R-S All-Stars are Todd Bergstrom of New Market, John Johnson of St. Patrick and Terry Fredrickson of Elko and the coaches for River Valley include Scott Black of Fairfax, James Van Buskirk of Henderson and Gary Schleper of Shakopee.
