KSTP Meteorologist Gets Bloodied Up After Collision w/ Deer Right Before Newscast
Right before his Monday morning newscast at 4:30 AM, KSTP meteorologist Ken Barlow got bloodied up after hitting a deer on I-94. He was on his way into work when it happened at 1:30 AM.
He posted a picture of the aftermath on his Twitter. Bring Me the News writes that "the force of the crash sent Barlow's face into the steering wheel, leaving him with a bloody nose and lip that ushered blood down his face and onto his white dress shirt." And yet he still got to work, cleaned up, and was ready to go for the newscast at 4:30.
Bring Me the News spoke with Ken the day after the crash. Ken said that he was "'a little sore' ... but is otherwise none the worse for wear."
