Kasson-Mantorville Ranked No. 2 in Class AA Wrestling Poll

The Guillotine Class AA High School wrestling rankings are out for teams and individuals.

The Kasson-Mantorville Komets are behind only Simley in the poll.

Albert Lea Area is fourth and New Prague seventh among Class AA schools.

Stewartville is mentioned in the Lean and Mean category of teams just outside the top 10.

Kasson-Mantorville Junior Keaton Schorr is rated second at 126 pounds, eighth-grader Patrick Kennedy is third at 145, junior Brady Berge is No. 1 at 160, senior Aaron Berge is third at 170, senior Andy Bigelow third at 182 and Komet junior Noah Ryan second at 195.

Byron junior Matt Peterson is ranked ninth at 106 pounds in Class AA and Albert Lea Area freshman wrestler Joe Peterson is third.

At 113 pounds, Albert Lea Area freshman Zach Glazier is ranked No. 1 and Winona freshman Jacob Mueller is 10th.

At 120, Winona sophomore Jack Vasselar is rated fifth and Albert Lea Area sophomore Gavin Ignazewski seventh.

Junior Garret Aldrich of Albert Lea Area is tops at 126 pounds in Class AA.

At 132 pounds, junior Chase Logelin of New Prague is ninth.

Senior Ryan Epps of Cannon Falls is tops at 138 pounds, and senior Griffin Parriott of New Prague is rated No. 1 at 152.

New Prague senior Nick Knutson is ranked fifth at 170 pounds.

Junior Mason Rutt of Tri-City United is second at 182.

Mannkato West sophomore Zachary Jakes is sixth and Tri-City United junior Jordan Simonette 10th at 220 pounds.

Senior Alex Burns of Tri-City United is rated No. 2 at 285 pounds and is joined in the top Guillotine rankings by senior Kyle Lypkie of Stewartville at fifth and Mankato East senior Logan Swanson at seventh.
