At first, I thought I was possibly imagining this.  Or, maybe my kids were adding things to my grocery cart that I bought without realizing.  No idea.  Only thing I was aware of was the fact that my grocery bill was increasing dramatically.

Based on data from Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, the cost of our groceries between March 2020 and December 2025 climbed about 29.4%.  That pain we were feeling when we looked at that total at the grocery store was real - prices did indeed increase.

When the price of everything goes up but you aren't making more money, the need to cut back becomes a reality.  I've been on a mission to find ways to save extra cash for my family and one of the latest finds is something you could do right now at your house.
