Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rochester man accused of repeatedly sexually abusing a teenage boy is now in custody.

The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Wednesday, says the victim reported being sexually abused in Rochester and in Colorado. 

Olmsted County Adult Detention Center records indicate the suspect was booked into jail Monday evening.

Charges: 64-Year-Old Man Sexually Abused Teen Boy While Living in Rochester

64-year-old Stephen Matthew Robertson is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The victim, who is now in his early 20’s, told Rochester police that he woke to Robinson sexually assaulting him twice in the night while they were living in Colorado about 10 years ago, according to the complaint.

He told police the alleged sex assaults continued after they moved to Rochester, when the victim was 14-16 years old, the charges say.

In an interview with law enforcement Robertson admitted to having sex with the victim in Rochester but denied the Colorado sex assaults, according to the court document. 

Robertson made his first appearance in Olmsted County Court on Wednesday. He is being held on $10,000 conditional bail and is due back in court later this month.
