
Two-Vehicle Crash East of Rochester Sends 84-Year-Old to Hospital
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An elderly Chatfield man was transported by ambulance to St. Marys Hospital following a two-vehicle crash just east of Rochester.
The State Patrol says the collision was reported just before 11:50 a.m. on Highway 14 at the intersection with 50th Avenue Southeast. The preliminary crash report indicates a small SUV was traveling east on Highway 14 when it collided with a westbound car.
The driver of the car, 84-year-old Peter Allen Ask, was taken to the hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The State Patrol says the driver of the SUV was identified as 72-year-old Debra Sutherland of Chatfield. She was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash report says alcohol was not involved.
