She was under the age of 10 at the time. The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Friday, says the alleged rape happened last August.

In December, the young girl reported to Chicago authorities that 52-year-old Anthony Dawson sexually assaulted her during a visit to Rochester for a birthday party, the criminal complaint says.

She said Dawson woke her twice in the night while she was asleep on a couch with her mother and took her to a different room in the home to rape her on both occasions, the court filing states.

He forcibly undressed her before the first alleged rape, the charging document says.

The young girl's mother began calling out her daughter's name during the second alleged assault. Dawson then told the young girl he would kill her and her mother if she told anyone about the alleged sexual assault, according to the court document.

During the assault, Witness began calling Victim's name causing Defendant to stop the assault. Defendant told Victim not to inform anyone of the assault or he would kill her and her mother.
