Investigators then executed a search warrant after responding to the alleged threat.

Charges: BB Gun Threats Leads to Discovery of Ammunition at Home of Rochester Felon
41-year-old Lawrence James Hamilton is charged with felony threats and felony possession of ammunition by a person convicted of a violent crime.
The complaint alleges Hamilton brandished what was determined to be a BB gun at a juvenile boy and woman who were arguing in the hallway at the Falcon Landing Apartments, located at 897 16th Ave. SE.
After producing the BB gun, Hamilton threatened to shoot, the charges allege.
The court document indicates Hamilton, his spouse, a witness and the victims all acknowledged that the boy and woman were arguing in the hallway. Camera footage of the incident was not available.
During the search of Hamilton’s residence, investigators found the BB gun, which is described in the complaint as a “same-sized replica of the Sig Sauer P365 handgun.”
Police also located two boxes containing live 9mm ammunition.
Court records indicate Hamilton has been convicted of felony domestic assault five times and has also been convicted of second-degree assault, convictions that make him ineligible to possess ammunition.
Hamilton made his first court appearance on Monday. His conditional bail was set at $10,000 and he’s due back in court later this month.
