Infant Products Recall
Two infant products have been recalled due to some possible hazards. Fisher Price has recalled an infant motion seat due to a possible fire hazard,
The recall involves Soothing Motion Seats with model numbers CMR35, CMR36, CMR37, and DYH22, and Smart Connect Soothing Motion Seats with the model number CMR39. The model number is located on the underside of the motor housing.The motor housing could overheat causing a possible fire hazard.
About 63,000 of the seats were sold in the U.S., and around 2,000 more in Canada. The product was available at stores like Buybuy Baby, Target, Toys R Us, Walmart and and was available on Amazon and other places.
If you have purchased one of these seats you should stop using them immediately and contact Fisher-Price for a refund by calling the consumer contact number at 1-800-432-5437 or and click on Recalls and Safety Alerts.
PlanToys has announced a recall of its Baby Gym product, because babies could strangle on the side rope crossbars.
About 500 of the gyms had been sold. They were available at specialty toy and baby product stores, as well as on sites like Diapers.com and Target.com.
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact PlanToys at 1-865-517-7526, email the company, or online.
