All lanes of hwy. 19 west of Cannon Falls are going to open to traffic on Friday June 15th at 5 pm, as construction to rehabilitate the bridge over Prairie Creek is completed.

The bridge which is located about 3.5 miles west of highway 52 now has new pavement on the bridge deck, new guardrail and the bridge rail was repaired. Cost of the project was $326,637.

Motorists had encountered a detour during construction.  Those restrictions will be removed when striping is completed weather permitting on Friday.
