The 2021 Owatonna Gem Days are here, which means it's time to celebrate our beautiful parks and trails and our rich historical buildings.
Gem Days offers the residents of Owatonna an opportunity to acknowledge the phenomenal community! From our history and legends to our businesses, services, and schools--all will be commemorated in a weekend of fun.

Throughout the extended weekend, you can find the best deals of the year in Downtown Owatonna at the Gem Days Sidewalk Sales. The sales run from 8 am to 8 pm.
In addition, you can find a mall of fantastic food vendors in Central Park. Vendors include Big Red, Ole & Lena's, Steele County ADA Malt Stand, Kona Ice, Schem's Kettlecorn, The Lunch Box, Dimitri's Greek Gyros & Kabobs, Ginger's Lemonade, Ginger's Corn Dogs & Mini Donuts, and Mineral Springs Brewery.
On Thursday, you can participate in Yoga at 10 am in Central Park, and snag a deal on Lake Kohlmeier rentals throughout the afternoon.
The Children's Mask Parade is Friday at 9:30 am, followed by Zumba in Central Park at 10 am.
The Farmer's Market will run from 7-3 pm in Central Park on Saturday.
And you can't forget about the 7th Annual Gus' Car Show and Fundraiser. This event will be held at the Steele County Historical Society from 8 am to 1 pm. More information is available here.
To end the weekend, River Springs Water Park will offer $2.50 admission on Sunday and a Turbo Kick class at noon.
