Minnesota Basketball News latest rankings has Hayfield move up to #4 in Class 1A following an 11-0 start to their season. No other Class 1A team out of the same section as the Vikings is among the Top 20 ratings.

Three Big Nine Conference Teams, four Hiawatha Valley League Teams and four South Suburban Conference teams are among the state's elite according to MBBN.

Goodhue is #5 in Class 2A with Lake City on their heels at #6.

The top ranked teams in each class are Mountain Iron-Buhl in Class 1A, Minnehaha Academy in Class 2A, Austin in Class 3A and Hopkins, Class 4A.
