Goodhue Girls Ranked #1 Again in Class A

The Minnesota Basketball News preseason rankings are out and it should surprise nobody that the Goodhue Wildcats are #1 in Class A.

The two-time defending state champs have some key players back from last year's team but the Section is going to be tougher than ever.

The Minnesota Basketball News knows that too.  They rated Lyle/Pacelli #2 and Hayfield #3.

Both are in the same Section with the Wildcats.

Defending Section 1AA Champion Rochester Lourdes is #3 in Class 2A and 6'5 senior Ayoka Lee and Byron are #8 after moving down to Class 2A.

Northfield is #8, Waseca #9 and Faribault #20 in Class 3A.

Eastview of Apple Valley is #2, Lakeville North #3 and Owatonna #20 in Class 4A.
