Goodhue Boys Cracks Class 2A Basketball Top 20

The Minnesota Basketball News has the Goodhue Wildcats boys basketball team rated #17 in their latest Class 2A rankings.  #1 is Waseca, #2 Caledonia, #3 Lake City with Stewartville #10.

In Class 1A Waterville-Elysian-Morristown lost a tough game over the holidays to then #1 ranked Henning and the Buccaneers are ranked #5.  Henning then lost to BOLD so BOLD is sitting on top with #2 Henning.  #12 is Blooming Prairie, #14 Hayfield and Randolph is dropped out of the Top 20 after losing both games in the St. Charles Holiday Tournament.

Class 3A Big Nine teams Mankato East and Austin are rated #3 and #6 respectively.  Minnehaha Academy has been on top all season.  DeLaSalle is #2.

Class 4A still has Eden Prairie at #1 followed by Park Center and Cretin-Derham Hall.  #4 Eastview, #5 Chaska.  Six teams out of the South Suburban Conference are ranked in the largest schools class.  #6 Shakopee, #10 Lakeville South, #13 Prior Lake, #14 Rochester Mayo, #16 Lakeville North and #19 Rosemount.
