November 3, 2020 is the date for the General Election in the United States of America.  KDHL will have the voting results and we will post them on our website as soon as they are available.

There are a number of candidates running for public office.  Due to COVID-19 many have not done the typical door knocking to introduce themselves to the voters.

KDHL wants everyone to be informed when they vote, whether it's absentee or in the booth on election day so we are airing visits throughout October.

We'll hear from individuals running for the Faribault Public School Board, Rice County Board of Commissioners, Faribault City Council, Minnesota Senate District 25, Minnesota House District 25A and a couple of other listening area races.

The first candidates on our AM Minnesota show were heard this week on Monday, September 28. 2020 Faribault City Council candidates Royal Ross and Sara Caron joined us.

This Friday, October 2, 2020 the candidates for the District 5 seat on the Rice County Board of Commissioners will be on AM Minnesota beginning 9:30 for a half hour visit.  Jeff Docken and Kim Halvorson will be joining us. Return here if you can't tune in,

Come back as often as you like to hear what the candidates say.  They didn't get advance questions to script their answers.  The candidates show their ability to think on their feet which often has to happen when you are in public office.
