Garth Brooks' next tour will be massive, he says, and fans will be able to hear his next single before summer officially begins.

The tour news is coming on July 9 and it will be "the biggest thing I've ever done on the road," Brooks shared during a Q&A session at the 2018 CMA Music Festival (quote via the Boot). Previously he'd mentioned news was coming, indicating the upcoming run of concert dates would be impressive. In the past he has said he'll be headed overseas after his three-year North American tour, which ended in December 2017.

This is the first time Brooks has talked in detail about new music. He'll continue to honor his deep country roots, he says. "What we need is a damn good honky-tonk song, so that's what we want to do ... This is one of those songs I can play all day long. A seatbelt and a helmet might be nice," he jokes.

Expect Brooks' next single to be released on June 18. It's the follow-up to "Ask Me How I Know," his first No. 1 hit in a decade.
