Free Well Water Nitrate Testing st Farmfest

Again this year the Minnesota Agriculture Water Resources Center will be offering free nitrate testing of well water at Farmfest. You can also bring a sample of tile water or any other water samples you might be interested in knowing more about. Collect the sample in a zip lock bag and bring it to Farmfest. The testing only takes a few minutes and the results are strictly confidential.

While you are at the Minnesota Agriculture Water Resources Center you can learn more about the Discovery Farms water monitoring program. In addition you can ask about any farming and water issues you might have on you mind. The Minnesota Agriculture Water Resources Center booth at Farmfest is in the tent just east of the Wick Buildings Forum Center.

Farmfest is coming up this next week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday near Red Wood Falls next to the Gilfillan Estate. At this point it looks like the weather is going to cooperate!
