Food Awareness This Afternoon at Hy-Vee in Faribault.

Hopefully this afternoon will be busy at Hy-Vee in Faribault. We will be celebrating Food Awareness Day! The event is being sponsored by of course Hy-Vee in Faribault, along with the Rice County Farm Bureau, Rice County Pork Producers, Rice County American Dairy Association and the Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers and the Check-Off. Members of all the groups will be there to greet you and talk about how your food ends up at Hy-Vee in Faribault.

The Rice County Pork Producers will be handing out coupons for a dollar off any pork product, the Rice County American Dairy Association will pass out coupons for a dollar off a gallon of milk, and the Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers and Check-Off will have coupons for a dollar off any meat product. I will also be broadcasting from the Food Awareness Day at Hy-Vee this afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
