Food Awareness Day at Hy-Vee in Faribault

This afternoon from 2:30 to 5:00 pm we will be celebrating Food Awareness Day at Hy- Vee in Faribault. Food Awareness Day is sponsored by the Rice County Farm Bureau, Rice County Pork Producers, Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers, Minnesota Turkey Growers, Rice County American Dairy Association and of course Hy-Vee in Faribault.

Representatives from all of those groups will be there to greet you and discuss how your food is produced. In addition there will be all kinds of pamphlets and goodies to pick up. Plus, the Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers will pass out coupons for a dollar off any meat product. The Rice County Pork Producers will have coupons for a dollar off any pork product. Yes, you can use both coupons on a pork product and get two dollars off. The Rice County American Dairy Association will have coupons for a dollar off a gallon of milk.

The Rice County Farm Bureau and commodity groups will also be making a donation to the Rice County Food Shelf. Hope to see you this afternoon for Food Awareness Day from 2:30 to 5:00 at Hy-Vee in Faribault!
