Food Awareness at HyVee

Last Friday, I was out at HyVee in Faribault to celebrate Food Awareness Day. Randy Hanson, president of the Rice County Farm Bureau, helped organize the event, along with the Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers, Rice County Pork Producers, Rice County American Dairy Association and the Minnesota Turkey Growers. All the groups had farmers there to talk with HyVee shoppers about where their food comes from.
