Five Hiawatha Valley League Girls Basketball Teams are Ranked
The latest Minnesota Basketball News rankings include five teams out of the Hiawatha Valley League, four from the South Suburban Conference and three from the Big Nine. Hayfield, Goodhue, Stewartville, Rochester Lourdes and Zumbrota-Mazeppa all represent the H-V-L.
Big Nine teams Northfield, Red Wing and Mankato West are in the Class 3A top twenty. In Class 4A Eastview, Lakeville North, Farmington and Apple Valley from the South Suburban Conference are included.
The Faribault Falcons have swept Mankato West and lost by three points and six points to Northfield so don't count them out for a playoff run.
