Feedlot Meetings

The County Feedlot Officers of Southeast Minnesota are offering training opportunities for feedlot operators. Those counties include Dodge, Freeborn, Goodhue, Mower, Rice and Steele Counties. The topic will be Current Issues Facing Feedlot Operators. All feedlot operators are encouraged to attend and take advantage of one of these FREE informative workshops.

The workshops will begin with lunch at noon. Then County Feedlot officers will discuss Emergent Management, Dave Preisler with Minnesota Pork will speak and then Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will discuss Water Appropriations. There will be time for questions at the end of the workshop.

One of the workshops will be on March 7, 2019 at the Zumbrota City Hall and on March 14, 2019 at the Blooming Prairie City Hall. The workshops will as I mentioned begin with lunch at noon and will wrap up approximately 3:00 pm.
