Farmfest Coming Up Next Week

Farmfest is coming up next week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Gilfillan Estate near Red Wood Falls. This is another one of my favorite events of the year. It is one of the largest outdoor Farm Shows in the upper Midwest. The forum building will likely be a popular place with this year being an election year. There will be forums or debates for the U.S. Senate race, House of Representatives and also Governor of Minnesota.

The final forum Thursday afternoon will be the University of Minnesota Farm Family of the Year Program. Forum organizer Kent Thiesse said families from over 80 counties have committed to attend the Program at Farmfest. Again this year I have been asked to help with the presentations for each family. That is always an honor! Another popular even, the free pancake breakfast will served Wednesday morning in the forum building. Thanks to the Minnesota Farm Bureau.
