The Faribault Falcons were not happy with their performance against Owatonna last Thursday and traveled to Winona and took out all their frustrations, to the tune of an 11-0 win.

Senior Alexis Ferris had a hat trick and the Falcons scored two shorthanded and a power play goal in the lopsided game.

They outshot the Winhawks 52-17: 18-6 in first period, 18-5 in second and 16-6 in the third.

Faribault was 1-3 on the power play and Winona 0-6.

In addition to Ferris' hat trick, Payton Putrah tallied two goals and an assist, Megan Johnstad had two goals, Hannah Trahan a goal and an assist, Olivia Williamson two assists and Allyson McCoshen two assists. Haley Lang added a goal, and Madison Beaupre and Shae McDonough each had goals also.

Lauren Werner was in net for her second shutout of the season.

The Falcons host Mankato West on Thursday and entertain Rochester Mayo on Saturday.
