Faribault Girls Basketball Still in State Rankings

The Faribault Falcon girls basketball team was rated Class 3A #17 in the Minnesota Basketball News rankings that came out Friday.

Faribault lost at Austin Friday night and to state ranked Simley at home Thursday following their road win Tuesday in Winona against the defending Big Nine Conference Co-Champions.

Other Big Nine teams Northfield is  #7, Red Wing #8 are also in Class 3A.

In Class 4A the South Suburban is well represented as always with Eastview #2, Lakeville North #6, Farmington #10.

In Class 2A Byron is #10, Rochester Lourdes #14 and Stewartville #18 out of the Hiawatha Valley League.

H-V-L teams in Class 1A include Goodhue #2 and Hayfield #5.

Lyle-Pacelli is still #1 in the Class 1A girls rankings and Grand Meadow #18.
