
Faribault Football Faces Another Top Ranked Team Friday
The Faribault Falcon football team just might have the toughest start to the 2017 season of anyone in the state.
After losing to Associated Press second ranked Owatonna 61-0 last Friday the top rated team in Class 4A Winona comes to Faribault Friday night.
The kickoff has been moved back to 7:30 p.m. to give the spectators and participants in the 52nd annual Faribault Invitationa Cross Country Meet some time to make room for football fans at Bruce Smith Field.
Faribault goes to Northfield next week and they are in the others receiving votes category of Class 5A.
The Associated Press first in-season ranking were released Wednesday and a number of area teams are included.
