Everyone is welcome to golf at the Oinker Open Scramble for Scholarships Tuesday sponsored by the Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers and Rice County Pork Producers. You can have fun, enjoy fellowship and help raise scholarship for students in Rice and Dakota County to pursue an agriculture degree at at two or four year collage.

The Oinker Open will be held tomorrow July 27, 2021 at the Fountain Valley Golf Club in Farmington. The cost is just $60 per golfer. The lunch will be served at 1:00, the shotgun start is at 2:00 with the awards ceremony and social hour is at 5:00 pm. It is a 9 hole 4 person scramble. If you do not have a team and would like to golf just show up and you will be assigned to a foursome. Where can you go to get 9 holes of golf, a cart, lunch and smoked porkchop afterwards plus a few beverages for $60?

The extra special part of the scholarship program is the Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers have partnered with the Ag Futures of America scholarship program in Kansas City. Two of the scholarships winners will be able to go to the 3 day conference in Kansas City and meet CEO's, CFO's and managers of major agricultural business both here and internationally.
