E-85 Corn Cob Go-Cart Donated to Randolph FFA
You may recognize this E-85 Corn Cob Go-Cart as it has been in many community parades over the years. It was owned by the Minnesota Corn Growers Association. County Corn Growers Associations could use it for parades. The Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean growers were one of the few counties that still used the E-85 Corn Cob Go-Cart. If I remember correctly the Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers spent a couple hundred dollars repairing it.
When the Minnesota Corn Growers Association decided to retire the E-85 Corn Cob Go-Cart the board asked the Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers if they would like to "inherit" the Go-Cart? The Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers voted to accept the Go-Cart and then donate it to the Randolph FFA. The Randolph FFA accepted the E-85 Corn Cob Go-Cart and will use it to promote Agriculture in southeastern Minnesota events.

Students representing Randolph FFA include Alayna Lund (in the car) Taylor Jerde (2nd from left) and Max Johnson (second from right.) The Randolph FFA is one of the largest and most active FFA organizations in Minnesota with over 100 members.
