Dangerous Cold Through Tomorrow, How Cold Will It Get Tonight?
We'll remain below zero across all of Minnesota through tomorrow afternoon, with the coldest temps of this arctic blast still to come tonight.
Below-zero temperatures combined with gusty winds up to 20 mph will produce dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 to 40 degrees below zero. The coldest and most widespread impacts will be over the next 24 hours.
Southwest and south central Minnesota are under a Cold Weather Advisory through noon on Tuesday, with the rest of the state under an Extreme Cold Warning.

During this blast of bitter cold, frostbite will be possible on exposed skin in under ten minutes during the worst conditions. Those without proper clothing and shelter could experience hypothermia.
If someone might have frostbite or hypothermia, seek medical attention immediately.
