Dakota County Has 100 COVID-19 Deaths
One more person was reported to die from COVID-19 in Dakota County bringing the total deaths to 100.
Only Anoka County (109), Ramsey County (246) and Hennepin County (798) have reported more deaths in Minnesota.
According to US Census 2018 population estimates Dakota is the third most populous county in the state with Anoka fourth. The difference between the two over 93,000.
The Dakota County Department of Public Health reported the median age of deceased is 83. 2,952 total cases are reported in the South Metro county. Median age 36.
302 of the 2,952 people have required hospitalization.
