Dairy Day A Big Success
The Rice County American Dairy Association hosted a Day on a Dairy Farm Saturday at the Pieper Dairy Farm Saturday. It was a little warm but there was a tent set up plus the Pieper's had quite a few big shade trees. In addition there was a nice breeze blowing through the yard. It was really nice to see so many families come out to the Pieper Dairy farm with their kids!
There was a steady line of families going to tour the milking parlor and to see the cows in the loafing barn. The calves in the hutches are always a big attraction for the kids too. The Rice County American Dairy Association Board and their families put a lot of time in organizing the event. In one of the pictures are the Rice County Dairy Maids and Junior Dairy Ambassadors. Also, a special thank you to the Pieper family by Lonsdale for hosting the event.
