The Minnesota Corn Research and Promotion Council (MCR&PC) has four seats that will be open for election this year. There are a total of 11 corn farmers that serve on the MCR&PC. The MCR&PC will be accepting forms from interested candidates through January 29, 2018. The MCR&PC oversee how corn check-off funds are invested. Remember, check-off funds can only be used for research, education and promotion.

Minnesota Corn Farmers interested in serving will have to fill out a Candidate Information Form and MCR&PC Candidate Certification Form by the deadline January 29, 2018. To find out which district you live in go to the MCR&PC web site. If you are interested or would like more information call 952-233-0333. Farmers will be automatically mailed a ballot in March if they voted in last year's election.

Members of the MCR&PC work alongside the Minnesota Corn Growers Association grower leaders to identify and promote opportunities for corn farmers, while building better connections with the non-farming public.
