Do you have a great idea of a project that would benefit the community? The Faribault Foundation is offering community pride grants to groups, and individuals working to make Faribault an even better community.

The Faribault Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Faribault that was founded in 1999. The organization serves to promote and enhance the quality of life for residents of Faribault with emphasis on community pride, families and youth, diversity and to encourage community philanthropy.

This year, the Faribault Foundation is offering Pride Grants again. Four Pride Grants will will be awarded to organizations or groups of people that have an interest in and plan to make improvements in our community. Some of the past recipients of Pride Grants include the Basic Blessings Backpack program, the restoration of the Tilt-a-Whirl that now sits on Central Avenue displaying a piece of Faribault’s history, and the Second Street Pocket Garden in downtown Faribault.
