Cattle Reporduction Management Workshop

The University of Minnesota Extension service will be hosting a cattle reproduction management workshop on May 23, 2019 in Oronoco. Rossman Farms located at 7000 70th St. N.W., Oronoco, MN 55960. Registration begins at 8:15 AM and the program will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The workshop is presented in cooperation with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Iowa Beef Center, North Dakota State University and South Dakota State University Extension.

The Cattle Reproduction Management workshop "will use hands on demonstrations and instructive presentations to introduce the latest research and best practices for successful operations and healthy cattle." Some of the specific topics covered include: body condition and udder scoring, nutrition simulation, difficult calving, calf implant discussions and others.
