Cannon Valley Grown Kick-Off This Evening

The Cannon Valley Grown is a new collaborative community building and marketing venture between "local farmers, producers, and makers who aim to raise awareness of products created and grown in the Cannon River valley." The Kick-Off will be this evening at 6:30 at Imminent Brewing 519 Division Street S. Unit 2, Northfield, MN 55057. The event is open to everyone, no RSVP is required and it is free. Snacks will be provided, beer and nonalcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.

At the kick-off event this evening Cannon Valley Grown members will discuss this unique project, highlight ways that working together helps grow our local foodshed and economy effectively in the future. In addition Cannon Valley Grown will offer its members access to marketing tools, cross promotional opportunities and educational workshops.

The Cannon Valley Grown is a project of the Sustainable Farming association of Minnesota's local Cannon River chapter and is funded by a grant from the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation.
