Cannon River Watershed-Wide CleanUp

Are you looking for something to do on a Saturday morning? Here is an idea that would be fun, you can get some exercise and be able to be outside enjoying the weather. Volunteers are needed for the Cannon River Watershed-Wide CleanUp. That will be Saturday September 21 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Plus you can feel good about helping your friends and neighbors clean up the lakes and rivers where you live!
Specifically volunteers are needed in eight communities in our area on Saturday, Cannon Falls, Faribault, Medford, Northfield, Owatonna, Shields Lake, Welch, and Waterville. Many of the site leaders will be hosting a picnic for their volunteers after the cleanup. You can register as an individual or as part of a group at the web site: www.crwp.net/cleanup/.
