Boat Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center

Every year when I am at the Minneapolis Convention Center for Pork Congress they are setting up for the Boat Show. Pork Congress is in the lower level of the Minneapolis Convention Center and the Boat Show is on the main level. There is a long line of boats on the street around the Minneapolis Convention Center, with exhibitors waiting to get to the unloading area. Walking by, I looked inside the convention hall. I have never seen so many boats in one place!

In the lobby outside the convention hall there were a couple of racing boats. There was no one in the display to talk to but I am assuming these were racing boats. To me they looked more like planes that flew just above the water with only the motor prop being in the water. Sure makes you wonder just how fast they can go? I have never had time during the summer to consider getting a boat. But, if you are into boating I am sure you would enjoy the boat show. The show runs Thursday afternoon through Sunday afternoon.
