Black Bear Casino Resort has announced a big change in their operations. The popular spot is now entirely smoke free.

The popular attraction announced the news on their Facebook page, writing the following:

When we open tomorrow, July 15th at 10 am, we will no longer allow smoking inside of the building. Guests will be able to smoke outside of the building. We believe that this is the best decision for us to ensure the safety and security of our guests and employees.
As mentioned, you can still smoke at Black Bear Casino Resort but it will have to be outside of the building.

There are a few other important things to note regarding this announcement, including the following:
  • Guests will still be able to smoke in their rooms at the casino. However, these rooms must be designated smoking rooms.
  • This is a temporary decision.
  • An end date for this policy was not given and will be announced at a later date.
It should also be noted that in the comment section, someone asked about the buffet. They replied, saying as of now, they have no plans to open the buffet back up.Black Bear Casino Resort was forced to shut their doors mid-March as concerns over COVID-19 coronavirus started gaining traction. They recently reopened with new policies and guidelines to ensure the safety of customers and staff. This is the latest step they are taking to keep everyone safe, according to their post.
