Big Ten Unveils Minnesota Gopher’s 2025 Football Schedule

The Minnesota Golden Gophers are headed to the Duke's Mayo Bowl in Charlotte, North Carolina on January 3rd to face the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Before the bowl season wraps up, the Big Ten Conference has already unveiled the 2025 football schedule for the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Without divisions in the conference this year, the Golden Gophers finished eighth in the Big Ten out of the 18 teams with a 7-5 overall record, and a record of 5-4 in the conference.

The 2025 season opens at home against Buffalo, and ends back at home against the Wisconsin Badgers, playing for Paul Bunyan's Axe. There's no place like home. There's no place like home.

The Golden Gophers play their home games at Huntington Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus.

The 2025 schedule for the Golden Gophers lacks Big Ten matchups with the Michigan Wolverines, USC Trojans, UCLA Bruins, Maryland Terrapins, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Washington Huskies.
