Faribault Bethlehem Academy has been celebrating Homecoming this week and would like to see a lot of alumni along the parade route Friday afternoon. Also at Friday night's football game at Bruce Smith Field.  The school enjoyed themed days throughout the week

The 2019 Homecoming King will be crowned during a noon Pepfest Friday.  The crowning will take place at the end of the Pepfest.  Organizers says close to 1:00 p.m.  The Homecoming King and Court will then lead the Homecoming Parade beginning 1:30 p.m.  The Homecoming football game is 7:00 p.m. and the opponents are the Awesome Blossoms of Blooming Prairie.

The parade route: Starting at BA

  • North on 3rd Avenue to 3rd Street NW
  • East on 3rd Street NW to Central Avenue
  • South on Central Avenue to 1st Street NW
  • West on 1st Street NW to 2nd Avenue

Tradition at Bethlehem Academy is to crown a King with the candidates accompanied by an escort.  Homecoming King candidates and their escorts are:

  • Jack Jandro, son of Sue and Tony Jandro.  Jack escorted by Madeline Casper, daughter of Melissa and Joe Casper.
  • Joshua Oathoudt, Son of Deb and Todd Oathoudt.  Josh escorted by Alissa Battles, daughter of Lynette and Josh Battles.
  • Spencer Ell, son of Jolene and Tony Ell.  Spencer escorted by Haley Lang, daughter of Deb and Jeff Lang.
  • Benjamin Cohen, son of Liz Cronin and Brad Cohen.  Ben escorted by Serena David, daughter of Cory and Kasey David.
  • Nathan Smisek, son of Julie and Eric Smisek.  Nathan escorted by Grace Seidel, daughter of Celeste Donlon and Robert Seidel.
