The Faribault Bethlehem Academy boys basketball team extended a 26-13 lead to a 60-33 win over Kenyon-Wanamingo at Van Orsow Auditorium Thursday night.  The Cardinals were a plus six in the rebound department and took care of the ball with 12 turnovers.  The Knights had 17 turnovers in the contest.

Bethlehem Academy's Damon Trump led all scorers with 21 points and had 8 rebounds, Jack Clark added 15 points 4 rebounds and 5 assists.  Kenyon-Wanamingo had no players in double figures.  Tate Erlandson led the Knights with 9 points.  The Cardinals totaled 41 rebounds and Kenyon-Wanamingo had 35.

The Cardinals were 4 of 16 from three point range (25%).  The Knights 5 of 15 beyond the three point line (33%).  Bethlehem Academy shot 46 percent from the field and K-W 24 percent.

Kenyon-Wanamingo was 3 of 6, the Cardinals  7 of 11 from the free throw line in the lopsided contest.

 

The Cardinals are 6-6 and travel to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown next Friday.  Kenyon-Wanamingo is at Pine Island next Friday and is seeking their second win of the season.
