Tuesday I will be hosting a special hour long AM Minnesota Program along with U of M Extension Educator Claire La Canne in Rice and Steele County. For many years there has been an Organic Crops Day program held in Owatonna late in March. Instead of another virtual program Claire asked if we could host the program on KDHL's AM Minnesota program. So, thanks to Claire the Organic Crops Day Program will be Tuesday March 30, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:00 am.

Here is the information on the guests Claire has line up for Tuesday's AM Minnesota Program.

Carmen Fernholz, organic farmer in Madison, MN will talk about organic weed management, alternative crops, organic markets, and more.

Diane DeWitte, UMN Extension Swine Educator, will give an update on parasite management in organic, pastured swine while touching on organic crops and swine links.

If you listen in to the programming, enter a drawing for a PRIZE by filling out a short survey!  If you miss the live session, you can listen to the recording on KDHL's website, under "podcasts."
