The good news? People ages 16 and over will be able to sign up for COVID 19 vaccinations beginning Tuesday. The news is exciting as we are hoping it means more freedom in the future; getting back to normal and hopefully living life to the fullest again as much as possible.

But even though anyone who wants a vaccine will soon be able to get one, it doesn't change the fact that there are still a few things that we will be unable to do.

  • You could still catch Covid -19. Hopefully you just won't get it as bad.
  • You could still catch it and spread it to someone else. It's a smaller chance, but it's still possible.
  • The CDC is still recommending that you DON'T travel even if you've been vaccinated.
  • You will still not be able to take a bite of your sandwich before lowering your mask. How many times have you forgot to lower your mask for eating and drinking?
  • You will still not be able to understand the television news reporters when they talk through their masks. And why? There's no one else 6 feet around?
  • You will still be required to mute your microphone while on a ZOOM call...and unmute when it's your turn to talk.
  • Fully vaccinated people still can't tailgate and it be okay.
  • You still won't be able to see when as your glasses fog up when your in the grocery store. My apologies to everyone trying to get around me...I'm just waiting for my glasses to defog so I can see where I'm going.
  • You can't lick a spoon with your mask on.
  • Your poor pets still won't be able to read your facial expressions.
  • On a positive, you still won't have to wear make up for awhile.
  • You won't have to quarantine if you're exposed to someone who has Covid.
