The University of Minnesota will be hosting an Advanced Corn Agronomy Summit on Tuesday July 16, 2019 at the Southern Research and Outreach Center at Waseca. This is a brand new program "that focuses on strategies to enhance corn yield and return on investment while mitigating economic and environmental risks." The program includes presentations indoors in the morning and outdoor field presentations in the afternoon. Registation

The cost is just $35 and includes handout materials, refreshments and lunch. You do not have to pre-register. CEU's for Certified Crop Advisors have been applied for. Jeff Coulter, Extension Corn Agronomist will discuss Strategies to increase corn yield and profitability, and Corn growth and development with intensive management systems. Tom Hoverstad will discuss Taking control of hybrid selection and Innovations in weed control. Finally Jeff Vetsch will talk about Increasing fertilizer cost effectiveness.
