If the weather was a few degrees warmer it would be a perfect time for a 'cool' fundraiser. The Faribault Booster Club and the two Dairy Queens in town have teamed up for a Faribault fundraiser tomorrow from 3-7pm where a portion of all sales will be donated to the Faribault Booster Club.

According to a Facebook post from the Faribault Booster Club, tomorrow, Tuesday May 12th, from 3-7pm both Dairy Queens in Faribault will donate 15% of their sales to the Faribault Booster Club.

According to the Faribault Booster Club's page:

"The Faribault Booster Club’s Mission is to “Enhance the Student Athlete Experience and Promote School Spirit.”
In the last 8 years, we have invested more than $1 million in projects and programs that directly benefit student athletes and promote school spirit at Faribault Public Schools. The projects the Booster Club has funded over the years range from the sports programs handed out at home athletic events to major facilities enhancements."

The locations of the DQ's that are participating in the fundraiser are:

309 Lyndale Ave North and 4050 Highway 60 West.

Grab something cool like a blizzard, or dilly bar or something like a chili dog for dinner. Remember 15% will go to the Faribault Booster Club and help out area students and athletes.
